In many cultures throughout the world skulls have become emblems, holding significant representation for the people and their culture. While skulls represent infinite things, they also symbolize the start of a new cycle and the birth of a new life. With death there is always some form of rebirth. Even decaying matter gives life to grow and nurture something a new. With death comes awareness, a new perspective, spiritual connection and transformation.  It is here that I found my connection and inspiration to create authentic, one of a kind pieces that honors the cycle, to pay homage to what was and bring a new kind of beauty to the former emblem of death.
