Birch Bark Moon Mask

Inspired by painting with sand, I created this piece to highlight features giving depth and life to this moon mask. As it was being made a whimsical earthy spirit emerged and I decided to complete the look by using curly pieces of birch bark for hair then placing it on a  raku fired dish to complete the vision.
